Gui'an New District was established in 2014 with the approval of the State Council, and it clearly defined "important growth level and new highland of content open economy" as three strategic positions. The planned area of the new district is 1,795 square kilometers. The new district is fully committed to promoting the development of a new generation of electronic information industry led by big data. Relying on a number of golden signs such as the big data comprehensive experimental zone, Gui'an industrial development cluster zone, and pilot zone, a large number of key projects such as China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, and Huawei have been successively implemented, and big data has been further improved. In 2015, the scale of the information industry in the new district reached more than 14 billion, and the total scale in February alone was more than 2 billion.
