Chongqing Jiangjin District Chinese Medicine Hospital was founded in 1983. Its predecessor was the "Jiangjin Chengguan First Joint Clinic" founded in 1951. In 2013, the first phase of the hospital expansion project was put into use, formally forming a new pattern of "one hospital and two centers" with Degan as the headquarters, Xiaoshizi as the geriatric center, and Sipaifang as the rehabilitation and physiotherapy center. It is a national second-class A-level Chinese medicine hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research in Jiangjin area and a demonstration Chinese medicine hospital in Chongqing. The hospital has only 5,900 information points as a whole. The backbone of the hospital's integrated wiring system uses ZORA 4-core 10G OM3 optical fiber and ZORA 50 pairs for the majority.
