Jiangsu Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute (referred to as Jiangsu Quality Inspection Institute) is a provincial authoritative technical institution authorized by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the Jiangsu Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau to specialize in product testing, quality appraisal, scientific and technological research and development, and technical consulting.
There are nearly 400 employees, including 9 doctors and 77 masters; there are 26 professor-level senior engineers, 59 senior engineers, and 52 engineers, with the proportion of engineering and technical personnel exceeding 85%. More than a quarter of the personnel serve as members of various professional standardization technical committees across the country, national laboratory review and assessment experts, national industrial product production license examiners, and national food and food-related product production license examiners. The existing laboratory area is nearly 70,000 square meters, with nearly 4,000 sets of various testing instruments and equipment, with a value of more than 200 million yuan. The testing capabilities cover nearly 6,000 products in ten categories, including food, chemicals, building materials, electrical appliances, wires and cables, cosmetics, hardware, metallurgy, information networks, and fire protection.
